Hidden Little GemGreat little course, and extremely dry for this time of the year. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. And the 18th is a challenge.
Would have loved a warm up area but that?s the only negative
Good fortune of yearMost courses are unplayable but as usual this course is open. Greens are excellent fairways a little wet but ok. the day we played there was a trolley ban but we knew this before. Just look at their website on the day, staff are really helpful and are always try to make things bett
Winter GemIn recent months have played several courses which most have been extremely muddy due to the recent weather making some parts of courses unplayable. Then there is Cranham, the drainage along with conditions of course is second to none you would hardly know the weather had been so bad. The course is fairly straightforward with reasonably short holes and in my opinion is a great course to play if a high handicap looking to improve. The winter fees are fairly reasonable to. The only down side is there are no practice facilities.
Great starter course. Very good condition. This is a perfect place to start golf, or equally as good if you are ageing as we all are, and need to p play somewhere a little less taxing on the walk. Don't dismiss t this place as a pitch and putt, its not. It also almost always has the nicest putting surfaces in the area. In my opinion, this is a very very tricky course from six foot from the hole and in. I cannot think of a way to describe it better than that. I play off 3, have played here 50+ times, have broken par once (-1) and rarer than not fail to play to my handicap here.
Excellent course,Excellent course, facilities have greatly improved, sadly no catering facility open on the Bank Holiday Monday, but very enjoyable.
