Decent Course
First time at Cranham really enjoyed the round, the course was in really good condition, it's not a long course with some interesting holes. I would recommend this course for beginners or those who enjoy shorter holes.Unfortunately I do have 2 negatives the first was slow play, maybe we were unlucky but they allowed a 5 ball group ahead of the group in front of us which meant that we were always in a que at each tee which meant that we had a very slow round for a short course.
The second negative was the attitude of the staff, the gentleman in particular who was behind the counter at the end of our round who seemed to be either the manager or the owner was quite rude to us and seemed more interested in what ever he was reading and frankly made us feel about as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit. I'm sure he didn't mean to and was probably unaware how he came across but it was a shame to leave with that bad experience as we had had a really enjoyable day up to that point. But overall it was a good day

I don't think some reviews do this course justice. It is always in amazing condition. Ok, it's not the toughest, most scenic course but it is great for beginners (and someone like me who took the game up very late and will always be classified a beginner!). It is very reasonably priced too.

the course is in fantastic condition (25/7/12) despite the heavy rain the course plays fantastically well and greens are running quick.
The staff have done a great job in keeping the course open for play. Worth a visit

A pleasant little gem
Not a tough course by any means but very flat, open and very well maintained.Some lovely holes especially the two around the lakes and some tricky greens.
Very busy course with green fee of only £17. You can see why it's so busy at that price.
Perhaps some other courses should take note that you don't have to get greedy to make
money.

Good value
This is a good all year round course. The drainage is excellent and the course overall is well maintained. The only drawback is its lack of practice facilities at the moment. The course is very flat and easy to walk round but there are many water hazards. There is ample parking.(Round played: Nov 2021 - Score: 93 Handicap: 28.1)

Clubhouse could do with upgrading (I think this is currently in motion).
Actual course is very enjoyable to play and well kept.
If it's just golf & home, I would rate it higher, but I like to sit down and have a chat and a cuppa after and the clubhouse isn't that good for doing this at the moment.

During the winter, the excellent drainage around the course allows for play to carry on in wet weather. The quality of the greens is good, but bunkers could do with some work.

Really enjoyable course, club house is tidy, great service, and very affordable. Will definitely return
