Of the 3 or 4 courses that I play regularly this one is my favourite. No two holes are the same (unlike some courses) FANTASTIC greens, well thought out course that is both challenging and forgiving (some times)
Priced below £15.00 (weekdays) this is a bargain round of golf that will have you coming back time and again. Shame I live 30 miles away from it otherwise it would be my 'home course' - absolutely love playing it!

Superb course, forget this being a municipal - the greens are much better than many private members course. Quite a short course - but play off the whites if you like a challenge

This is the second time i've played this course and was still kept in very good condition. The last time we played there where no facilitys on site but 8 weeks ago they built a cafe so you can now get food and drinks good for if your travelling from out of town.

The course was in great condition when i played it, its a no frills golf course. some great scenery on the way around, and some challanging holes, but i do agree that for a low handicapper it wouldnt be th emost challanging, but i play off 22 and i enjoyed it. its by far the best municipal golf course i have visited in a long time........i will definatley be returning!!

The course was in excellent condition. It had obviously been prepared to host the Banning Cup. The fairways were well maintained and the greens ran true

I’ve just read the previous review and that chap must’ve played another course, Tinsley is superb, yes the rough is long, that’s always been their, and only erranat shots or bad club choice will find itThe greens are excellent attention to detail from the staff is clear and it’s probably as good as a golf course as it’s ever been, I recommend giving it a try,
As for the £19 green fee at 5.30
That’s a round of drinks for your 4 ball these days, maybe do that instead of 4 hours looking for your ball

Nineteen pound twilight bargain!
Played this course at 3.30pm on a Friday for nineteen pounds and it was in great condition. For this price with hatched fairways, good greens and not many playing its an absolute steal. Yes there are some things about this course which are not so great, like parking and people wandering around the course. But you cannot fault it for this money.Reviewer Rating
