Disappointed
Course bone dry, fairways in absolutely pristine condition. So can't understand why x1 temp green and 3/4 of the tees were mats. Whilst paying full price. Greens need alot of work and dog walkers are a large problemReviewer Rating

great municipal course
Hit many good driver and 3 wood tee shots, played a challenging course really well,(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 80 Handicap: 13.7)

Good course for standard golf
I have played this course a few times now and its always worth a visit in between other courses for a practice round. Some interesting holes and challenging ones too. Facilities are ok, I think the cafe has closed now which is a pity but for the cost of a round, I would always have this on my list for a last minute decision to play a round.Reviewer Rating

Forgiving and fun

Fairway good quality cut short rough not to long green quite fast and keep line tee box bad in places but seen worse overall good quality for £15 on Saturday

This is one of the best municipal courses in the country to play. A good challenge for low,medium and high handicappers. A shame the bar was closed we had to drive to the nearest pub to get some food and drink.

One of the best municipals in the area
Travelling the 20 minutes from Doncaster to here is always worth it. A lovely course hidden away in Sheffield which is always in really good condition bearing in mind its municipal. Has some really interesting holes with some spectacular views from the tees. Well worth the price and the only gripe is the car park and walk to the Club House doesn't give the best impression, but play the course and that will change.Reviewer Rating
