Lovely course and great value
A true gem of a parkland course with stunning views. Well laid out and spacious course set amongst many acres. Some gorgeous holes and a good test of golf. Some long par 4?s to test the better players. Course was immaculate.Reviewer Rating

Championship Quality
Played The Roxburghe and loved every second of it, very well set out, you expect it to be of the highest quality from the moment you walk in and it doesn't disappoint. Course in fantastic condition, very good test for for all abilities!Reviewer Rating

Great visit all round
Quite a drive through country roads to get to the Roxburghe, but well worth it.Clubhouse and pro shop are quite small but adequate and very well presented.
The aspect of the course is great. It is a beautiful parkland course, very idyllic and with lots of space on most holes not to feel hemmed in by all of the large trees.
The course was in great shape. It is long and challenging for the high handicapper but thoroughly enjoyable all the same. Bunkers are many and often massive. You really need to think about how you approach each green as they are often surrounded by large bunkers.
Par 3s are also a challenge with only one relatively short and all are lovely holes but tricky shots.
There are great views around the course but the first view of the viaduct as you walk down hill through the trees is an extra wow factor.
We finished off with a meal in the clubhouse where the food was also first class.

Wonderful
Been coming to The Roxburghe for many years now. Outstanding golf course which is always presented in immaculate condition. Would highly recommend. 10/10.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 97 Handicap: 16.3)

Superb Condition, Scale and Setting
Played a society event in brilliant sunny weather with a wide range of handicaps in the group. Course was in stunning condition, greens a proper test for all abilities and a real struggle for some. The welcome and hospitality was top drawer and would recommend the Roxburghe and The Borders to all.Reviewer Rating

Played this course in August, was in good condition. The sand was very poor, damp even though it was afternoon and it hadn't been wet. Course was good but I think it was a little overrated, a bit expensive for what it is.
Lots of walking between holes. We walked well over 8 miles in total, almost 5 hours on the course. Great views of the viaduct on the 14th

Excellent course and setting. Some holes are quite spectacular particularly 14th. Played with a voucher but would gladly pay for another round at the going rate. Course was in excellent condition for the time of year

Beautiful course, difficult but always fair. Not too scary off the tee, but greens are well protected and the bunkers are serious. All in all a fabulous championship course, and a must to play.
