What the club says: The course lies in the heart of the Scottish Borders amidst rolling hills and breathtaking scenery. The course is parkland in style but contains natural areas of gorse and broom.

Most of the holes are played on the flat with gradual slopes leading to the higher parts of the course. The course is signposted from Jedburgh town centre and lies a half mile out of town in the shadow of the Dunion hill.

Great course

Beautiful course, views would have been fantastic if we could have seen them!! Quite quirky, second time will be easier to work out. Will definitely come back though.

A good test with wonderful views

Jedburgh golf club sits on top of a hill, so you start from the first tee playing directly into the prevailing wind, and on stroke index 1!! On the plus side, the fairway slopes downhill, away from you.
It is a lovely course, no two holes are the same, and the hills and slopes add to both the character and challenge of the course. The club have recently appointed a full time green keeper, so the minor issues around the detail of moss on the greens and suchlike will now be addressed and improved.
In the clubhouse, there is now a full time presence in the form of local business woman ?Naomi?s Kitchen?, who produces home made meals, scones and cakes with hot and cold refreshments for members and guests alike.
It is well worth a visit. We have never received anything other than a very warm welcome.

Annual Trip

I have played here a couple of times now and have found the staff and members to be some of the most hospitable people I have ever met, even ferrying some of our players to town to save waiting on a taxi.
The course and club house are all looked after by local people and is generally in great condition.
How many courses have you played where there are refreshments at a half way house and an honesty box.
If you want Turnberry then pay Turnberry prices but Jedburgh is a great value for money golf course. I cant rate it highly enough and the scenery is breathtaking.

Thoroughly enjoyable track and excellent value. Played in the individual open here with a couple of the members. They were most welcoming and really enjoyable company. The day before the open there had been a ridiculous amount of good old Scottish rain and the course was bone dry. Considering this is a small club the standard of the course was outstanding. I really liked the layout, you had to plot your way around some of the tricky par 4\'s but you could open your shoulders on the longer par 4\'s. The par 3\'s were a real test and the signature 13th was a joy. I will definitely play this track next time in the boarders.

Terrible management and poor staff training. Poor treatment of visitors. A place that is to be avoided at all costs.

The course was in excellent condition considering the torrential rain which had fallen the previous night. The course is very hilly in places which made for a gruelling morning round (our 9th in 5 days) but very enjoyable in the afternoon using buggies. Better course signage would be useful on some holes and the gorse punishes many wayward tee shots on the new 9 holes.

Good food and a warm welcome in the clubhouse.
