What the club says: Minto Golf Course was established in 1928. Set in parklands on the lower slopes of Minto Hill, it faces south over the Teviot valley a mile and a half north of the attractive 17th century village of Denholm and almost half way between the towns of Hawick and Jedburgh.
The views from this 18 hole golf course and clubhouse are outstanding as is the Scottish Borders countryside all around that is steeped in history.

Lovely track
Was playing in a comp at the Roxburgh the following day and stumbled across this absolute GEM! What a course. Immaculate and great fun to play. The greens were well kept but hard to read (more of a me problem)! No pro shop but can hire buggies from reception. Would love to play again. If it had a pro shop and a bit more infrastructure it would be a couple of points higherReviewer Rating

A lovely course
Minto is a course which always looks in excellent condition: today was no exception! The greens are tricky, due to the number of slopes, but they are as smooth as silk.A challenging layout, but worth it for the stunning views across the valley!
We have always enjoyed a very warm welcome.

will be back
my wife and I played at minto 21st august 2017 with the offer from the crosskeys hotel ,we could not have had a better day ,the course with beautiful views was a bit of a challenge ,but very enjoyable,my wife got around steadily playing off 32 to give you an idea of this beautiful course ,the staff ,monica and eddie plus others were very pleasant and and the food very good ,the course is only 5minutes away from the CROSSKEYS HOTELin DENHOLM which is a great place to stay ,overall this combination ticked all the boxes.will be back next yearReviewer Rating

The course was in great condition and all our party enjoyed the round. Not very forgiving for those of us who have a slice or a hook!

Great course, fantastic staff, a cosy clubhouse but the barlady said they were going to be renovating soon so I will definately return once the works are finished

The course is open parkland on a hillside and lies within 3 separate fields. The final 8 holes lie in front of the club house and have spectacular views over the border country and Cheviot Hills. The clubhouse, though small has everything you need for a pleasant days golf.
