Course was in very good conditions fairways quite wide but if you went off bunkers were deep and rough long, greens are all well protected by deep bunkers and are large, undulating and quick!

Was a decent course but wouldnt pay £80 per round for it as I have played better courses half that price

Tees and fairways excellent. Greens very quick and very tricky. The course is very long and a tough walk!

Superb parkland course in excellent condition. Reminds me of Rowallan castle but in much better condition

Scotlands hidden gem? A truly outstanding golf course. I have played many golf courses in the UK but this has to be the best. Superb views of the local area coupled with a course in immaculate condition make for a great golf experience. The course is demanding with typically large bunkers lining most fairways and greens that are sometimes impossible to read a break. I would recommend playing this course to anybody who enjoys the game of golf. Amazing!

We played this when on tour 4 years ago. It was a fantastically well kept course then, having hosted the Scottish Open we were told, and I suspect it still will be today.
Given that I had a hang over and after 9 holes was 8 down I have little recollection of the course, I remember eventually loosing 2 and 1 sporting a bit of a come back but one that I could not maintain.
I suppose given the standing of the course been host to a championship event £50 per round four years ago would be considered good value but not when you're from Yorkshire
