Almost Brilliant
There are so many great things about this course, it seems a shame to "only" score it a 7. However, as someone in the group I played with said, it has "greens like Baywatch, tees like Crimewatch". They are truly terrible in places, more akin to patchy rough than tees. If they sort that out, this is an easy 9/10Reviewer Rating

Many signature holes with steep inclines and wooded valleys.
Bunkers well looked after and lovely greens. Tee boxes a bit worn in places but hardly surprising with the drought.

An interesting course
But make sure you get a buggy. The trips between green and tee on some of the holes was frankly ridiculous and meant that it was a long round. The course is also very hilly indeed. Greens were also inconsistent, which made putting difficult and the rough was brutal with limited semi rough to slow the ball.(Round played: Sep 2020 - Score: 98 Handicap: 19.4)

Course was in very good condition with very good greens, true and quite quick. Some lovely par 3s and a good range of tees to test all levels. If you can go and play I don't think you will be disappointed
Half way house is a good stop and I recommend the bacon bap.

Top class course
A championship standard course with great layout and some great holes. Some long walks between tees so a buggy recommended. Quite expensive but worth playing at least once if you get the chance.Reviewer Rating

Superb
This was the last leg of our tour to the area – crossing the border from Somerset to Wiltshire. Manor House is rated 2 in the county and we could definitely see why. From the point of arrival, to the courteous staff and unbelievably helpful team in the pro shop, this was a memorable day played on a superb course. The course is relatively new and the design is fantastic, if you like picturesque holes that is. Two magnificent par 3’s (2nd and 17th) some breathtaking views from raised tees (8th and 12th) and a delightful finishing hole. Some of the early holes have an inland links feel about them with the raised contouring between adjacent fairways and although one or two of these holes felt a little similar in style, it didn’t detract from the overall quality of the course.
The course is manicured to high standards and for sure is a pleasure to play. The greens ran true and fairly quick and were typically large with an american feel to them.
One note of caution, the course is designed with buggies in mind. The course itself does have one or two climbs to negotiate, but the bigger issue is with a few of the walks from green to next tee and in all honesty without a buggy for those walks it would have been very demanding and tiring.
If you feel up to the challenge then Manor house is a course worth a visit. We can’t speak highly enough of the service we received from everyone at the club. We couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome.
