Very interesting course to play. You will need a buggy to play as there are lots of hills etc, but you have to stick to the path, sometimes this is too far away from the ball in play.

If you prefer walking courses and hate buggies then this is NOT the course for you. Course itself has some great holes laid out, but the walks from greens to tees are only made for buggys. Also the greens were slower than what should be expected for a course this expensive.

Mr

Lovely course but VERY expensive for your average golfer. this was a a charity day for the air ambulance so I didn't mind paying the cost otherwise I would not of entertained it because of the cost.

A very long drive for a slightly better than average course. Very hilly and slow progress, but friendly staff and an enjoyable day

Nice course. Long walk between some of the greens and next tees but flat otherwise.
Greens ok - overall quite slow.

Lovely course, bit of a slog without a buggy but diverse, challenging and well kept. Highlights are the par 3s, 2nd and the 17th. Knocking to within 3 feet on the 17th (right green) was a fun experience.

Almost Brilliant

There are so many great things about this course, it seems a shame to "only" score it a 7. However, as someone in the group I played with said, it has "greens like Baywatch, tees like Crimewatch". They are truly terrible in places, more akin to patchy rough than tees. If they sort that out, this is an easy 9/10

An amazing golfing challenge and spectacular course.
Many signature holes with steep inclines and wooded valleys.
Bunkers well looked after and lovely greens. Tee boxes a bit worn in places but hardly surprising with the drought.

Fantastic elevated holes

The condition was good and the variety of holes made it enjoyable to play. Some fantastic elevated holes.

An interesting course

But make sure you get a buggy. The trips between green and tee on some of the holes was frankly ridiculous and meant that it was a long round. The course is also very hilly indeed. Greens were also inconsistent, which made putting difficult and the rough was brutal with limited semi rough to slow the ball.

One to play

Course was in very good condition with very good greens, true and quite quick. Some lovely par 3s and a good range of tees to test all levels.
If you can go and play I don't think you will be disappointed
Half way house is a good stop and I recommend the bacon bap.
