Highly Recommended 2018
What the club says: The Manor House Golf Club course adjoins the magnificent grounds of the luxurious Manor House Hotel and is set in 200 acres of wooded valley and downland. Peter Alliss, who designed the 6500 yard, par 72 championship course with Clive Clark says, "It's hard to imagine a finer setting for an English golf course." The setting, layout and design make each hole memorable and the course is testing yet fair and enjoyable.

An interesting course
But make sure you get a buggy. The trips between green and tee on some of the holes was frankly ridiculous and meant that it was a long round. The course is also very hilly indeed. Greens were also inconsistent, which made putting difficult and the rough was brutal with limited semi rough to slow the ball.(Round played: Sep 2020 - Score: 98 Handicap: 19.4)

Mr
Lovely course but VERY expensive for your average golfer. this was a a charity day for the air ambulance so I didn't mind paying the cost otherwise I would not of entertained it because of the cost.(Round played: Sep 2020 - Score: 99 Handicap: 25.3)

fabulous course
Well worth a visit. Fantastic track with wide variety of holes . some spectacular drops and rises . Watch out for holes 8 12 and 17(Round played: Sep 2020 - Score: 101 Handicap: 20.3)

One to play
Course was in very good condition with very good greens, true and quite quick. Some lovely par 3s and a good range of tees to test all levels. If you can go and play I don?t think you will be disappointed
Half way house is a good stop and I recommend the bacon bap.

Definitely worth a visit
Lovely course with some challenging holes. Excellent condition. Would definitely recommend a buggy (good value at ?20) some very steep hills up and down. Will be going back to play again.

What a test!
A thrillign layout, I nevere tire of coming here. The course testrs all facets of your game, and I am really surprised how much I find the change of flag positions most challenging!

What a treat to play
Even in the rain the course is superb. Love playing it, even though it can be a challenge, it has some beautiful holes and a few challenging ones. It was in such tremendous condition too. Great day.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 95 Handicap: 16.5)

Seriously good!
This has to be one of the best courses I?ve played. The picturesque landscape and hole layout are simply stunning. The course was immaculate with the greens being well maintained and a serious challenge.I will 100% be returning..... it?s a fabulous course.

Excellent course
This course is well worth a visit , every hole has its own characteristics and is also very challenging(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 90 Handicap: 15.5)

Top class course
A championship standard course with great layout and some great holes. Some long walks between tees so a buggy recommended. Quite expensive but worth playing at least once if you get the chance.

Fantastic Course
