Fantastic course
As always, great course, challenging to play due to hidden undulations in the greens and the vast amount of water on the front 9.Reviewer Rating

PGA National
The PGA National is a very good partner to the Brabazon, especially at ?140 cheaper on the day!!A really nice layout, with some water & some very challenging bunkers. Generally it's in superb condition & the greens were lightning fast for March. It had rained heavily most of the day before, so there was some standing water, but not bad for the time of year & the weather we'd had.
There wasn't much strategy needed off the tee it was driver every time, but the bunkering challenged your approach choices a few times.
The bunkers were a bit heavy & wet, but as I said we'd had a lot of rain.
It was disappointing that both putting greens were closed, I can understand one to control the traffic, but not both.
It's basically the Brabazon but without the signature holes so overall a great golfing experience.

The Belfry is special
Played the Brabazon and it was special. A tough course with water in sporadic places, lots of twists and turns. The halfway hut is right by the famous Seve 10th and this is honoured with a plaque. Likewise is a Nick Faldo hole in one with a 6 iron, I think on the 15th. Great touches. Lots of bunkers and the layout is fantastic.Reviewer Rating

Expensive for what it is !
Played the Brabazon, green fee about £180.00 per person. Its in fairly good condition but not worth all that money, bunkers don 't have enough rakes and were very often not raked. The round was slow I don't think they are bothered if you can play or not. Played with a scratch golfer and a 6 handicapper and they were a bit frustrated with the pace of play. Food was expensive £17.00 for a salad £13.00 for a club sandwich not great either.I
