Never a PGA course
Played the Brabazon and pga this week, the courses are in dire need of attention, it shouldn’t take 5 and a half hours to complete a round of golf, waiting for 10 minutes on every hole, fairways havnt been cut, bunkers not raked, sand all over the fairways, greens not ironed, past my complaint over to the head of golf and he says he will pass my comments onto the greens staff. never again !!!Reviewer Rating

Derby - Instantly forgettable
I've played the Brabazon & it's fantastic. I was hoping for a cheaper version of that experience with the Derby.I know I only paid 20 quid, but sorry it disappointed. I walked off 18 & couldn't remember a single hole. It's in good condition & the greens are nice. The staff are all superb, but a very disappointing golf course.

One word rubbish!!!! Room with no view i.e. No window !! Meal was embarrassing regards appearance and temperature it had to be recooked from fresh so a 20 min wait. Also they had broken my golf trolley they sent a less quality replacement.
Below standard I'm afraid for what I expected to be better than what I received on my stay.

Awfully expensive at £45. It is well overrated at this price. The course was in poor condition, and there is not even a map on the scorecard.

The Derby course is not worth it
The Derby might seem good value, and although it's kept in nice condition, it's boring (lots of straight par 4?s averaging 380 to 400 with no variety). There?s no real opportunity to have a practice putt before the round as the putting green is by the 1st tee, which they have to drive you to, and only just before your tee off time! Forget paying ?10 just to use the practice green by the driving range!Reviewer Rating

Borderline Municipal Golf Course
No Buggies or Trolleys allowed because of the British Masters event being held there start of May..Shocking greens..

Oh dear the greens
