Great to be Back
Have not played my home club in 26 years since joining the Forces. I went back to have a game with my Dad and Son and did not quite know what to expect. I play off 10 and been privileged to play on some of the best courses in my time in the Army. To say I was pleasantly surprised was an understatement. The clubhouse set up has changed a lot but still very friendly with great service throughout.The course was immaculate, lush fairways, a good 1st cut of rough and the greens were very receptive to approach shots, but still cut very well and ran true and faster than I originally anticipated. To play the long 5th and the 'Horseshoe' 15th again was something I had waited a long time for and was not disappointed. I will definitely look at joining when I settle back in the area.
