Stunning

I love playing golf at Sudbury GC, as the home of Middlesex golf you feel like you’re in a well managed club from the office to the greens team everything is done to a high standard. The members have been very friendly and welcoming whenever I’ve played and the course has always given me some great shots to remember, thoroughly recommend to anyone looking to test their game as there are plenty of different slopes to contend with and test your skills. Played this course for the first time and its a nice little challenge with some interpreting holes but nothing too long except index 1 and 2

This course will not dissapoint

At just over 6000 yards, a challenging course that requires you to hit fairways. It's well laid out, pleasing on the eye, with fast greens, some having tricky slopes to contend with. This course is hilly, has strategically placed bunkers and a few dog legs on the back nine. Well looked after and definitely worth a visit.

Good Course Played Well

Very nice course left a lot of shots out there overall was good price on week-end is a bit steep though.

One of the courses I play every year in summer. Par is only 69 with 1 par 5, but SSS is 71 off whites and 70 off yellows. I believe they are looking to change the order of play, so for 2017 we started at the 10th hole, and this means finishing with a par 3 which is outside of the clubhouse, and means spectators get to see the finishing hole (the current 18th is not visible from the clubhouse).

Course was playing well, although the greens were slower than usual, they were still running smooth and true. Bunkers have improved considerably and are very good, and the fairways are as good as they've always been.

Our organiser is a Past Captain at Sudbury, so we are always well looked after, with good food and everything being reasonably priced.
