Catch it while you can
Enjoyable enough course espfopr 9 holer. Great that was stil open & allowing trolleys as there was a LOT of casual water nGreens bobbly here & there but faser than youd think & fairways ok when not in sodden or groiund under water. Amazing value tooReviewer Rating

Decent course given the price
Obviously a cheap course, but given the price, it's a decent time. Greens are better than expected and given the winter conditions, fairways are in good nick!Reviewer Rating

Reasonable municipal 9 hole course
Easy course, apart from one stand out hole (6th), okay for practice. In reasonable condition apart from some lack of grass on first and left hand side of 4th fairway. Good pace by golfers although frequently by beginners.Reviewer Rating

Nice Little 9 hole.
Nice flat 9 hole course, good condition with some challenging hole. Great for older players and those learning. Very friendly staff and good value for money. Play can be slow on competition days, Wednesdays & Fridays.Reviewer Rating

Course generally in good condition, greens need some attention. Pace of play good, but busy as not all courses open yet

Decent little course with one gem of a hole
Fairly standard urban 9-hole course, with a couple of exceptional holes. The ninth is a monster par five, albeit a pretty dull one. The sixth, however, is one the finest holes around. A 431 yard dog leg par 4, water on both sides, tapering to a thin, two tier green. Almost always into the prevailing wind. A total gem of a hole, and worth the green fee on it's own.Reviewer Rating

Basic but well kept
Wanting to play a relatively tame course having not played for nine months and only having time for 9 holes, this came up on my search. Having not played there the reviews were mixed to say the least, however I was pleasantly surprised with the state of the course and the greens were in good condition and true, that was the opposite of a number of the online comments. The course is, as most say, a beginners course with little to concern the middling handicappers, but is more than a boring up and down track as some courses are. The other negative comments online were around lack of etiquette, however the only interaction was with a practising singleton who was very accommodating allowing us to play through.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 41 Handicap: )

great little 9 hole course, flat no hills most holes reachable within 1 to 2 shots, ideal for high handicappers to get more experience improving their game

Very relaxed course, great for beginners like me. Mostly pretty straightforward, with a few easily birdiable par 4s, The 6th is very tough - cracking test. Generally in OK nick, but there are much better in the area. But I'll keep coming as they don't care if you wear jeans and it is totally unstuffy . Greens v slow and the 9th is a bit bouncy on the fairway but apart from that in good nick for what it is.

Without a doubt the worst course I have ever played at. Not welcoming, poor fairways, terrible greens. No etiquette at all here. Extremely poor course, will not be going back ever. Better off paying double the price and going elsewhere.

I only play here for the location convenience. The course is OK, but the greens are really really crap! Even with the summer we had they were still poor. Also a bit overpriced. £11 is a bit steep for 9 holes. Especially with the poor greens and very very basic, almost non-existent.

nice cosy course, the pro shop/counter staff always tell you s=when there is a better than advertised deal on 2 for 1 etc.
Yes the greens are a bit rough but the course generally is in tidy nick, better than it has been over the years - looks like the rough has been cut back a bit but its an simple enough course if you keep your approach simple and safe. You start with a nice open par 4, deceptive Par 3s along the way, mixed in with a good mix of long and short par 4s, ending in a satisfying par 5.
great for a quick round as long as the aforementioned public dont busy the course up, but this also means that as a beginner is a comfortable place to take your first steps. Fellow golfers are generally polite with the regulars welcoming.

nice lil course but beware of 3balls with 2 sets of clubs and 4 balls with 2 sets of clubs and poor distance marking as well as not many red or yellow post on the course..the odd 5/6 ball can be found playing.

Love this 9/18 hole and has some long holes for a nine hole course. Greens are a bit rough which is to be expected from a public course and is quite forgiving if the drive is a bit wayward.

Flat course with a few interesting holes. Not as easy as people think.
Don't bother going on a summer weekend as you'll end up getting stuck behind groups of flip flop and jeans types.
