DIRE

15.10.17 visit this course daily. Condition of fairways is appalling.Recent cutting has resulted in the cuttings being left to rot down (presumably) and the course recut leaving the ground muddy and covered in tyre marks everywhere, together with grass now growing in all bunkers. Not fit for use unless re-enacting the battle of the Somme (which on reflection was in a marginally better condition) hire a proper greenkeeper !!!

Greens had been spiked, this makes them look worse than they are.

This course is a favourite of ours as not only it is it possible to get here without too much of a walk from public transport, it is also a great course for accommodating beginners without it feeling neglected.

The 1st and 4th holes require you to negotiate some fairway trees, really good for learning about risk management.

There's enough variety across the 9 holes to keep anyone interested, definitely enjoy the views from the 2nd tee or the 7th!

All in all a great, cosy vibe. Well maintained and well worth the midweek £6 fees!

A nice hilly 9 hole course with a couple of nice holes (the par 3 6th) is very nice for views.

If you play a "irons only" round this couse comes into its own and plays quite tight.

Worth a look for a after work game in the summer.

though a 9 hole par 28 course, a challenge for the beginner, and a test for the high to medium handicappers is the 3rd hole to keep their ball in the fairway
