DIRE15.10.17 visit this course daily. Condition of fairways is appalling.Recent cutting has resulted in the cuttings being left to rot down (presumably) and the course recut leaving the ground muddy and covered in tyre marks everywhere, together with grass now growing in all bunkers. Not fit for use unless re-enacting the battle of the Somme (which on reflection was in a marginally better condition) hire a proper greenkeeper !!!

The 1st and 4th holes require you to negotiate some fairway trees, really good for learning about risk management.
There's enough variety across the 9 holes to keep anyone interested, definitely enjoy the views from the 2nd tee or the 7th!
All in all a great, cosy vibe. Well maintained and well worth the midweek £6 fees!
If you play a "irons only" round this couse comes into its own and plays quite tight.
Worth a look for a after work game in the summer.
