High handicappers dream - not much chance to get driver out and greens not really testing

Not a friendly reception for ourselves, also over priced i thought. Especially with 3 holes closed. Winter tees where almost floating atop of the mud. There has been some heavy rain, but i think the placement of the tees should be reviewed, not placed in small valleys. A good challenge but maybe avoid until the course has dried up quite a lot. Good sausage

Confidence booster.
I've played Styal a couple of times - if you wanted a course to ease yourself back into golf, not be challenged too hard etc then Styal is perfect. Not the longest, not the hardest & the greens weren't the best......but overall it's a friendly, great value for money course that I'll continue to visit.Reviewer Rating

Flat course. Greens were in good condition. Garmin do not have the correct yardages as I think the layout has recently changed.
