Real test and in very good condition. I have played throughout winter and been on the full greens. In the summer the greens are fast and tricky. Although nine hole this is not the easiest as it is tight with sloping greens. There are also three long par 4 holes 400+ which very challenging. Well worth a visit and really good value

Great little test in lovely condition. Firm fast greens with plenty to think about. You need to hit it straight as there is plenty of trouble. Really enjoyed the course and will return. Recommended

for a 9 hole course, this was very enjoyable although i found it a little expensive at £19 for a round for what it actually offers

Good course, well kept and groomed. A little short and over priced, no par 5's but offered a good challenge for beginners and was fun to play with the little brooks flowing through the course

Course is well kept, the staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The course itself is only a 9 hole and some tees cross certain greens but well worth a round.

Played today and the course was in pretty good condition. The greens were firm and had a good covering of grass. The fairways were nicely cut. Some tricky holes with difficult greens make this a reasonable test of golf.

The course at Cheadle is a testing loop of nine holes with a variety of par 3s and 4s, from the short 97 yard, bunker guarded 5th hole, to the long, testing and tight 8th.
You will always find the greens here at Cheadle a delight to play on, and recent drainage works means they will be playable for most of the year.
Cheadle Golf Club was established in 1885 and is the second oldest golf club in Cheshire (the oldest being Royal Liverpool at Hoylake).
It is well known as a very friendly club where new members and visitors are made welcome.

My friends and I played this course on a Friday night after work. We were looking for somewhere for a bash and a relaxed evening's golf. All of us are competent golfers - either club members or sporty lads. The pro was friendly but the members were horrific. Cheadle Golf Club has a banner outside advertising that visitors are welcome, but it certainly didn't feel lke it to us. We were shown sheer hostility by one or two members, and we will certainly not be going back. If golf clubs have a reputation for being stuffy, snobby and petty, a quick visit to Cheadle Golf Club will show you why. Avoid at all costs.
