FABULOUS
WHAT A GREAT COURSE.have been on private course in less goood condition than Stevenage.
has to be one of the best local authority couses in the country

Great course and facilities
Given its winter and quite wet the course is in good condition and holding up well. Greens were good and reasonably quick and true. My only gripe would be that a number of the T boxes were very uneven and trying to find a flat lie was very difficult. The game is hard enough without having to T off either the ball below or above your feet!Reviewer Rating

Great track
Was recommended this course by a friend and I wasn’t disappointed. An open front 9 and fiddly back 9. Course was in good condition. I didn’t have one flat putt. Guy in pro shop and lady in club house were very friendly. Members were chatty. Food very reasonable in the bar. Will be going back!(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 84 Handicap: 9)

Fantastic pay and play
As long as you accept that the condition of the course is never going to be as good as Wentworth then you can get on with appreciating what is a really good course. Challenging but fair with some decent long holes and excellent par 3s. All of the par 3s are great but the 17th coming when it does at the end of the round is a real card wrecker! Don't let that put you off though because by then you will have had an excellent time.Played in November after the heatwave summer laid waste to so many fairways and yet there is plenty of grass on them, unlike places like John O'Gaunt and Brookmans Park which cost three times as much and are a shambles. Save your money and play Stevenage instead.
If I ever win the euromillions multi rollover I will buy this course!

Lovely course. Highly recommend. Greens in really good condition. Only thing that could be better is opening the range up earlier, so that people can warm up on range before setting out. But definitely play again.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 91 Handicap: 19.8)

Wonderful course would be difficult for a novice greens play fast but overall the course is kept in really good shape - mainly play in Birmingham and this competes with all the good courses I have played in

Very enjoyable course to play, with each hole having it's own character, and most needing the utmost respect. Sand in the bunkers not the best and sometimes difficult to play out off. Fairways and greens excellent and well looked after.

Excellent course as always, greens immaculate and some tricky holes was really pleased i got a 3 par on the second to last par 3 hole as it is a difficult shot.

A nice layout and generally very pleasant. Good facilities for all visitors. Main problem I found was loads of mown grass in the rough which made finding balls a nightmare when playing on your own. Woody front and watery back gave a variation in hazard. Could have done with a course diagram as quite a few shots are blind.

One of the more difficult courses to play, every hole has something to learn. Lakes, streams, trees aplenty, Long rough that will punish you. If you can play well here, nowhere else will have any fear for you.
