What the club says: The course is undulating and well place ponds and bunkers along with a variety of trees add to the well groomed fairways and greens.
At 6802 yards the Par 72 course provides a stern test for the low handicapper whilst providing an enjoyable game for the higher handicapper. Firm greens and well draining fairways provide golf 364 days a year, where the challenge changes with the season.

Always enjoy this course which is in great conditionHowever always have issues with the amount of sand in the bunkers. Some parts of the bunkers are just sand coloured mud.

Very Good courseVisited Whitehill again recentkly, last visit was over 2 years ago. Course was better than I remembered the condition of the fairways was excellent and the greens, which had only recently been ironed were ultra fast, making the greens very true but ultra fast, leading to many 3 and 4 putts from myself who is not used to greens that fast. Clubhouse also good for a club of this size.

Nice course bunkers a bit ropey which spoiled my roundFairway Bunkers on the 13th in poor condition little sand if any. Also left hand greenside bunkers on 15th less than 1/2 inch sand.

Fantastic courseThe best condition greens I have played on in some time. The course overall was in extremely good condition. Pace of play was perfect, with other groups rarely holding us up or close begin, although it was early on a Sunday morning and it looked like it was much busier later. Friendly staff and nice food in the clubhouse.
An under rated courseCourse has steadily improved and though weather conditions were very wet the course stood up to this very well.

Lovely Fast Greens

Worth playingCourse in reasonable condition though bunkers would benefit from more sand.
Worth a vistInteresting course - looks easier than it is. Greens exceptionally fast and easy to run off the back. The Covid19 Pin devices not the best quality I've experienced, and were frustrating after a time. Overall an enjoyable course to play.

Enjoyable 9 holes on a beautiful sunny eveningEnjoyable 9 holes on a beautiful sunny evening. Pace of play slowed by a fourball ahead. Clubhouse staff always friendly.

Demanding courseMany blind holes where you cannot see flag from tee. Lots of hills and sloping fairways, trees and bunkers strategically placed. Good fun trying to work out the right shot and club. Very enjoyable round. Course in good condition despite dry weather

Course in great condition not enough sand in bunkersCould do with some work on bunkers - not enough sand in some and some like concrete - could do with quality sand not just builders sand.

Fantastic valueFirst time I played this course and I was genuinely impressed with the layout as well as the visiting despite there being heavy rainfall in the weeks leading up to playing. A great challenge due to the wind as well as some tricky holes. Would definitely return during warmer weather to give it another crack
