Tim and me
Course usual good dry condition getting good release and some good distance drives Tim improving every time(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 90 Handicap: 11.3)

Friendly club

Beautiful Sunday
Great course. Front nine easier than back nine where I could not get a level lie on the fairways. Greens very hard to read and a lot of ups and downs on the course. Definitely worth a visit.(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 88 Handicap: 10.5)

Stand staning alone in quality
Absolute beautiful course great greens, great fairways some difficult holes for a fade player like me ideal for a draw player. At £17 this was the best value course I have played this year should be £22 per round and still great value(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 85 Handicap: 10.6)

Great course
Cannot believe I've not played here before. It's a fantastic course with plenty of variety throughout the entire eighteen holes. My push trolley broke on the first tee, so hired and electric. Now I know what all the fuss is about. It was like taking a gentle stroll. Back to the club and the course. Well worth the money on a wonderfully maintained course and such a welcoming club too. I'll definitely be back to play again.(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 97 Handicap: 15.8)

Great course with a great welcome.

Well worth a visit
A dry course in our area a rarity at the moment, but Stand was fantastic. A little sand on the greens but they ran true and were pretty fast for the time of year. Hilly and longish course but some really interesting short and long holes. Really enjoyed the course despite not playing very well. We will definitely be returning. Pro friendly and helpful and everybody in clubhouse welcoming.9th April

Good Greens for time of year
First time at Stand - enjoyable round of golf and greens in good condition considering the time of year and recent weather. Also enjoyed the bacon roll and coffee deal which set us up for the round. Only problem was a 4 ball in front (Partnof a Golfing Society outing) who were very slow - would be great if everyone could play ‘ready golf’ on fairways and be ready to take their putt as soon as their partner has finished.(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 93 Handicap: 17.5)

Lovely course and staff

good but tiring
"A superb golf course, brilliantly laid out using the contours of the land & in absolutely fantastic condition". This review says most of the facts about the course. However if you are a senior citizen and walking then it is hard and tiring, hills undulations. A single ride buggy would make this course exceptional.Reviewer Rating
