Really enjoyable course with a good variety of holes. 14 par 4s may sound a bit dull but it is anything but. Some are short, some are long and it requires a good mix of brain and brawn off the tee. The par 4 8th was a particular highlight. I've played a lot of courses in the North West (of England) this year and Stand is definitely one of my favourites. It also helped that I played well. Handicap 12. Score: 77.

Aintree Hospital Golf

Played Stand today 6/6/21 with 21 lads. Brilliant day out at Stand Golf Club. Course was in fantastic condition, well done the Green Staff, your doing a great job. A lot of great holes, and greens running true. Staff and Members very friendly. A must play in the Manchester area. Will definitely play here again. ?????

Beautiful Sunday

Great course. Front nine easier than back nine where I could not get a level lie on the fairways. Greens very hard to read and a lot of ups and downs on the course. Definitely worth a visit.

Stand staning alone in quality

Absolute beautiful course great greens, great fairways some difficult holes for a fade player like me ideal for a draw player. At £17 this was the best value course I have played this year should be £22 per round and still great value

Great course

Cannot believe I've not played here before. It's a fantastic course with plenty of variety throughout the entire eighteen holes. My push trolley broke on the first tee, so hired and electric. Now I know what all the fuss is about. It was like taking a gentle stroll. Back to the club and the course. Well worth the money on a wonderfully maintained course and such a welcoming club too. I'll definitely be back to play again.

Well worth a visit

A dry course in our area a rarity at the moment, but Stand was fantastic. A little sand on the greens but they ran true and were pretty fast for the time of year. Hilly and longish course but some really interesting short and long holes. Really enjoyed the course despite not playing very well. We will definitely be returning. Pro friendly and helpful and everybody in clubhouse welcoming.

Superb course

A superb golf course, brilliantly laid out using the contours of the land & in absolutely fantastic condition.
Greens were fast & true, bunkers good & the fairways superb.
There are a few blind drives with drops & dog legs, but that only added to the experience for me.
