Lovely course and staff

We have played this course a few times now and I have enjoyed every visit, It is always a course I see in a positive light.

good but tiring

"A superb golf course, brilliantly laid out using the contours of the land & in absolutely fantastic condition". This review says most of the facts about the course. However if you are a senior citizen and walking then it is hard and tiring, hills undulations. A single ride buggy would make this course exceptional.

Superb course

A superb golf course, brilliantly laid out using the contours of the land & in absolutely fantastic condition.
Greens were fast & true, bunkers good & the fairways superb.
There are a few blind drives with drops & dog legs, but that only added to the experience for me.

For the time of year and the rain we have had the course is in excellent condition. Some of the holes, especially on the front 9, are superb. Very picturesque and testing. The greens are firm and true. I aim to come back and try it in the summer.

Great condition for the time of year. No fairway mats, playing tee boxes, and off the normal greens. I play all round the north west and this has got to be one of the better courses to play throughout the winter months.

Greens were fantastic, true with a good roll. The course is hilly in parts but believe me, this just adds to the quality of some of the holes. The 4th, 8th, 9th, and 10th are superb. If you drive well, you can score well here. There are great offers on some well known sites. Go on, give it a whirl, you won't be disappointed - but if you are, let me know where you play as they must be really good.
