Difficult but excellent
Really great layout on the outskirts of St Andrews. A bit trickier than the courses in the town but a fantastic course with some really hard to read greens. A must play if you are in the area.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 95 Handicap: 11.7)

The Best Golf Course in the World
This is an old municipal course, probably nobody has heard of it. Played it in perfect conditions the day before The Open, burnt out fairways, greens had been watered so were slower than the fairways! Now my 3rd time playing and I will be back.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 88 Handicap: 17.6)

The Home of Golf
I'm not sure I have the words to describe how amazing this place is. The weather was very typically Scottish but, for me, it just added to the experience. It's definitely one massive tick on my bucket list. The best golfing experience I've ever had.I would highly recommend getting a caddy, I'm certain he saved me 10 shots and was invaluable as well as super friendly.

Great weekend venue
Jubilee CourseThe Jubilee Course provides a decent examination of links golf skills with undulating greens, run off areas and tight fairway lies. This is a very playable course but make sure you bring your short game if you want to score well as the green complexes are very tricky.
The home stretch is very enjoyable as you play back in towards the Auld Grey Toun.
Castle Course
A very difficult but enjoyable course. All you can see as you drive through the dunes to the clubhouse are dunes, dunes and more dunes, with not a fairway or green in site, however all of the holes open out in the landing areas to give handicap players a fair but demanding test.
You’ll need your complimentary course planner to plot your way around here but don’t be put off, this is a superb championship course with great views over the sea and, from certain holes, St Andrews itself. Tremendous.
New Course
The gentlest test of the 5 courses I have played at St Andrews, but enjoyable nevertheless. The terrain is flatter than the other courses and therefore the greens and green complexes aren’t as tricky, which came as a relief to me after a 2 rounds on the Castle Course the day before.
The New Course is a great way to start off or round off a golf break on the links and the opening and closing holes provide great views of the Old Course Hotel. If playing on a Sunday, try to play early in the morning as, when we visited, there were sometimes 3 groups waiting on the opening holes whereas we sailed around from our 7.52am start.

Incredible experience
St Andrews get it right in every aspect. Not only are the courses in fantastic condition, off course everyone makes you feel so welcome it becomes a truly special experience. Played Jubilee (arguably the tightest and toughest course) and Old. The whole Old Course experience is incredible but they manage it so well. Pace of play is good, but you still have time to enjoy it and take in the history of what's happened before you. Highly recommended!Reviewer Rating

Dream come True
What can I say. Playable, amazing condition and the friendliest golf course I've ever played. Check out the winter deals on their website, soooooo not expensive. Not once did I feel like a fish out of water, a bit over whelmed but made so welcome. it's just a golf course!!!!(Round played: Feb 2018 - Score: 86 Handicap: 15.1)
