What the club says: No visit to Fairmont St Andrews would be complete without a game of golf. With two magnificent courses that weave their way over the rolling landscape, an unforgettable experience awaits both the seasoned professional and the beginner alike.

Torrance Course (Fairmont St Andrews)
Opened in August 2001, the Torrance is a spectacular course incorporating cliff-edge holes and stunning views over the North Sea and the medieval skyline of historic St Andrews.

Kittocks Course (previously known as Devlin Course) (Fairmont St Andrews)
The Devlin is the more challenging course of the two and was designed by Gene Sarazen and Bruce Devlin. Opened in July 2002, the course stretches over Kittock's Den and along the sweeping coastline. It provides a formidable test to every category of golfer with the breathtaking coastline an intrinsic feature of the layout.

Bit too pricey in the clubhouse!

Golfshake Team Review

Evil weather meant that we didn't see the best of this course, the little brother of the St Andrews courses. Having said that, it was in wonderful condition and stood up really well to the battering it got from the rain - certainly better than I did! Would love to try it in better weather as I suspect that it's a much better course than it's given credit for.

Worth it.
Sandwiched as it is between the Castle Course and Kingsbarns it would be easy to overlook Fairmont. Don?t.
The Kittocks has some amazing holes and views and the Torrance, whilst being a bit dull for the first 7, blossoms on the back 9.
