What The Club Says

St Andrews The Home Of Golf is a golfing Mecca for every golfer and realises the ultimate dream for golfers worldwide. From the iconic Swilcan Bridge on the Old Course to Tom Morris's masterful architecture on the New Course, St Andrews Links has developed over 600 years. The three championship courses; the Old Course, New Course and Jubilee Course run parallel to each other along the famous West Sands of St Andrews. Nestled on the opposite side of the Links are the Eden, Strathtyrum courses and the only nine hole course, the Balgove. A five minute drive from the town is the seventh course, the award winning Castle Course which offers dramatic views over St Andrews from its spectacular cliff top location.

The Best

Just love playing The Old Course. Played off mat because of the winter rules, but personally that doesn't take away from the experience.
Everything about the place brings me so much joy. Following the footsteps of the golfing greats.
Out and back and aiming everything left, the conditions was superb and the sun made it an even better experience.
Defo something all golfers should experience, once in their life.

Bucket List #1

For my 60th Birthday we travelled in storm Darragh up to St. Andrews on Sat 7th December. I registered in the singles ballot on Sunday 8th dreaming of an Old Course round on my 60th. 4pm, text received, 9:50 tee time granted for Mon 9th.. success and panic.. a quick visit to driving range to blow away travel cobwebs. Mon morning, breakfast or not.. first tee nerves.. met playing partners and caddie.. we were off, a gentle breeze and no clouds! 3 putt bogey on 1st but who cares, it’s the Old Course. Nothing was going to spoil my day, even the crow on 10 who stole my chocolate bar from my bag. A par, par finish and I was in heaven. #1 on my bucket list had been ticked off and IT IS A VERY SPECIAL PLACE!! thank you ????

I often play the Eden Course in St Andrews. I have played it regular over the last 20 years and it’s one of my favourites. It has many interesting and challenging holes. It’s not too long but you have to be on your game to score well.
