What the club says: St Andrews The Home Of Golf is a golfing Mecca for every golfer and realises the ultimate dream for golfers worldwide. From the iconic Swilcan Bridge on the Old Course to Tom Morris's masterful architecture on the New Course, St Andrews Links has developed over 600 years. The three championship courses; the Old Course, New Course and Jubilee Course run parallel to each other along the famous West Sands of St Andrews. Nestled on the opposite side of the Links are the Eden, Strathtyrum courses and the only nine hole course, the Balgove. A five minute drive from the town is the seventh course, the award winning Castle Course which offers dramatic views over St Andrews from its spectacular cliff top location.

Jubilee Course
Played the Jubilee in strong winds - real challenge as this (other than the Castle) is probably the tougher of the 7 St Andrews courses. Always a friendly welcome, can never fault how down to earth the staff are to make your experience special. Course was in great condition, tee'd off early and had the place to ourselves for about 16 holes, which for a Friday morning was amazing.

St Andrews Old Course bucket list
What more can you say but wow, wow, wow. Standing on the first tee where all the greats in golf have stood before, the history just oozes everywhere. That first tee shot and the feeling of fear as other golfers and general public watch you gets the blood pumping and all you hope for is to get a good connection and it goes down the fairway. Luckily I hit a good one and managed to start birdie, birdie something that will live with me for a long time to come!!

Eden Course magnificent condition
Played the Eden on a Saturday afternoon £55 booked two days before. Free strokesaver from the friendly starter,Greens, fairways and tees superb
Tricky into the wind on the homeward nine

Never fails to blow you away!!
Another unreal experience at the Home of Golf! We had weather you can only dream of, the course was in excellent condition and the rough was above Open Championship level according to our caddie which made it even more challenging! Pity we visited in the time of COVID as the usual hospitality wasn?t on offer but that wasn?t their fault, and what was offer was excellent as always.Loved the visit and hoping to get back soon!

Great Course

Great course even in tough conditions
Surprisingly difficult "3rd" course at St Andrews Links. Understandably the rough has grown quite a lot during lockdown, punishing anything off line. Still a great layout with some really nice holes. Signature 15th hole doesn't quite work for me with a large gully before the green meaning only one approach style possible.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 91 Handicap: 12.2)

A must play
Sadly for us when we played the wind was VERY strong but that didn’t deter rid from enjoying the incredible occasion a must play venue for any serious golfer

Dream come true
What can you say I still can?t believe I have played The Old Course which purely as a golf course isn?t actually out of this world but it is The Old Course which just makes it really special.

Home of golf enough said
One of the hardest, but best courses I have ever played

A different observation
I?ve been lucky enough to visits several times and more recently, played some of the local courses outside of St. Andrews links. All I can say is only then do you realise how good the hospitality you get in all the St Andrews clubhouses is. Nowhere comes close to the quality of food, price and service. The courses speak for themselves.

Wow
The Strathtrum Course. This is the cheapest 18 hole course at the home of golf. This is a must play course and it is great value for money. A good challenge for all handicaps and I will play this layout again. But for me the Eden course is next on my list at St Andrews.

Awesome
Incredible venue, the course exceeded all expectations. Made to feel very welcome but the tee shot off the 1st is a little nerve wracking

Amazing high of ambience
Tick off my bucket list

Fantastic
A wonderful course and superb greens. If the weather is good you can score well. Well worth a visit.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 94 Handicap: 13.4)

Best Golfing Experience Ever!
What an amazing experience. Standing on the 1st tee is a feeling I will never ever forget. What a fun course even though the winds were 30 mph+. The town oozes golf out of every pore, everyone is here for one thing. I will be back. One visit is not enough.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 91 Handicap: )

Brilliant course, very welcoming
Great welcome from arrival through to the first tee. Course was in great condition, enough rough without being too penal.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 97 Handicap: 20.1)
