A must play

Great to have played the old course, it was in very good condition and all the staff (which there were lots of them) were very friendly and helpful. Through 7 & 11 it is a bit congested due to the layout. The bunkers are a great challenge and the first tee is nerve racking.

This is an awesome experience which is improved by hiring a caddy as they provide you with information that a strokesaver cannot provide. Only downside was that clubhouse and driving range are a far distance from the first tee

Played the Jubilee Course on 5th May 2010. Weather was very favourable, very little wind. Course in excellent condition. Nice links course to play, challenging but not impossibly difficult. Keep the ball on fairway and it really helps. The stroke saver is very useful too.

Played the new coarse and it was absolutely awesome!!!!!!!!! Really is the home of golf, i would recomend it to anyone we were lucky with the weather and £100 for a 3 day ticket you can't go wrong.

Today I
Played the fantastic Jubilee course at St Andrews links.
As usual the course was in tip top condition. As it’s winter there were fairway mats in use for shots in the fairway.
I’m well used to this as I live in St Andrews and have been using mats for years.
The weather was nice if not a wee bit cold at times. ( it’s February and it’s Scotland so we’re used to it )
You never get a bad lie on a mat !!
The greens were in terrific condition, especially given the amount of rain over the last couple of months.
The Jubilee is one of my favourite courses on the links and I love it.

Magical
Played an unexpected round at the Home of Golf on the Old Course. This time of year, you have to play of mats, which is a shame but still a great experience. Playing in the low season makes it more affordable but still a hefty fee of £150.Reviewer Rating
