Love this course , very tricky , never get held up , in good condition , very reasonably priced

Wonderful views. Well-maintained fairways and nice graduated rough. Greens a little slow but receptive. Well raked and maintained bunkers. A tough walk in places but well worth it.

Course has greatly improved since I last played a few years ago, greens have been shaped some of the long rough has been cut back and two of the par 3s have been shortened.
Good layout, no boring up and down holes or two holes the same. Very challenging. Greens were slightly slow but ran true and the bunkers need work but the new management are going in the right direction.
Friendly staff and members. Excellent value at just £10 for a twilight round, well worth that. (Score: 88, Handicap: 12.3)

The course was in good condition for winter golf. The four ball price was excellent value for money and no temporary greens.

Wow! Played here a few years ago and didn't think a lot but the new ownership have clearly got the place heading in the right direction. Always was a long track with an inland linksy feel and was pretty dull but a few tees have been moved and the vicious rough is beautifully shaped to make the holes challenging and interesting. Hit your ball in the summer rough and it's a reload but there is plenty of room and you should be punished if you're that off line! Very impressed and a twilight round for £10 is outstanding value for this much improved course.

Nice course, but not too exciting. it was deserted bar 2 2 balls we saw and just a solid, but uninspiring parkland course. Would not play it again, but would not dismiss it to others who wished to play it. To use golf terminology - just a bog standard par.

Oh dont we complain about the 10th! longest par 5 we know of round here-uphill too! If youre not a big hitter you will be hard pushed to take this in par! A long course that demands mental and physical stamina. An enduring favourite of ours and one we will always return to. Like a good friend its not afraid to bring you back down to earth and teach you a few fundamental lessons!
