Very good, well worth visting
We played this course years ago before Mytime Active took over. The club house the course everything thing about the place has improved. The course is in excellent condition we play mainly off the yellow tees, off the white tees it is a different course all together. If you haven't played it for a while, you must try it.Reviewer Rating

A very well kept course with testing holes for the average golfer. The long 18th back to the club house is great to look at as are many of the holes on this course, a few par 3's and a couple of par 4's are there to 'go for' if you are brave enough!

Always a pleasure to play here. Nice well kept course, Interesting holes and attractive scenery. You don't have to book and its very reasonably priced

Played this course at the weekend and really enjoyed my round.
On the whole, the course is a little short but a good challenge that makes you use most of the clubs in the bag.
The tees are all in good condition.
The fairways are in great condition and due to the ground being quite hard, I got great extra yardage after my tee shot landed.
The rough is fairly friendly so off line shots are not too badly punished.
The greens are all in excellent condition with a true roll.
Overall I really enjoyed my round and at £21 it was pretty fair vaule for money.

went to have a practise round. found course in excellent condition looked like a lot of work is going on to keep course in good condition

An interesting and quite challenging course with plenty of water, bunkers and strategically placed trees to plan your way around. The course is in very good condition considering the amount of rain we've had over recent months and the greens were playing well. After my round i received a friendly welcome in the clubhouse and particularly enjoyed the pot of tea and bacon roll in the restaurant.

Excellent pay and play course. £17 a round is excellent value. Friendly staff in the club shop and bar/restaurant. Course is well maintained with excellent greens.

Having played here yesterday (and regularly over the years) I can honestly say that the course is in the best condition I've ever seen it.
You could argue that the course 'suffers' from newbies who hack, slice and cut up the fairways, but I think that would be a little unfair. It's open to the public and golfers of all abilities, which is a great thing because it's certainly a course you can learn from and use to master different types of shots. We all have to start somewhere.
Despite that though, the playing conditions were excellent yesterday. The fairways were beautifully short and fast, and the greens were nice and smooth. I managed to sink a 16ft putt which did not deviate off the line at all.
After your round you can enjoy refreshments at the excellent clubhouse. Sitting outside with your playing partners with food and drink, overlooking the fountain and pond and 18th green, you can really reflect on how nice the preceeding 18 holes were.
This course is not a premium course - but at just £20 at the weekends you probably get more value for money than any other course in the area - but it has all the facilities of one, such as a driving range, putting green and pro shop. There's no snobbery or exclusions of weaker players. It's a course that welcomes players of all abilities - something a few other courses could learn from.
Will definitely continue to play at Six Hills.
