Wow...this is an impressive course. The first few holes lull you into a false sense of security before the holes gradually get more and more interesting. All I would say is for those that are new to playing...review the course guide before going. This course is all about playing for good position and not trying to blast the driver.
The greens themselves are absolute lightening. Every approach to the green had to be played short and roll onto the green to stand a chance.

Amazing Course
This is a superb course to play. I played with a friend Jan 6th after a week of rain and the course was in excellent condition. The greens were perfect and looked like most courses do in summer.The staff from 1st arriving were polite friendly and helpful. Even the cold and bit more rain couldn't ruin the day.
A really great place and golf course. A course would recommend to anyone and know you will not be disappointed.

Played this course in winter and it played totally different. With lots of variation on each hole, it's a great place to test all parts of your game, and most of your clubs too. One to add to the list of going back for another round.

Great course.
Unfortunately the greens had just been punched so were terrible.
Considering the rain it had just had, course was in good condition.
Not many easy holes but still good fun.

I've played here a few times before but I stopped coming because I felt they weren't taking care of the course as they should and the greens were awful.
I got a good deal on teeofftimes so thought I'd give it another go. And how pleasantly surprised I was!! The course is in great condition and the greens are ace.
I think a lot of society's play here so book carefully.

Absolutely stunning course in the rolling Cheshire countryside. Some really beautiful and some really challenging holes. A must play if you're in the area

Really enjoyable round of golf. The course is in very good shape. Some greens are a little bit patchy but in the main they looking good.
The staff were really friendly.
Would recommend.

Very damp, but not through any fault of the Club. Play golf in Greater Manchester on the third of January, what do you expect? Challenging course with some very clever holes
