What the club says: Adlington Golf Centre has two 9 hole courses which are ideal for beginners and experienced golfers and is beautifully situated on the edge of the Peak District. Both courses have been specifically designed by leading Architects, Hawtree Ltd. The 9 hole Academy Course was specifically designed for the short game. The 660yd course usually takes no more than 45 minutes per round and requires no more than a wedge and a putter. Our 9 hole Par 3 Graduate Course is the natural progression from the Academy Course and is set amid open rolling countryside, with spectacular views towards the peak district and Lyme park. Taking less than 1½ hrs it is possible to get a round in after work.

Great little course to practice your short game

Well kept nice 9-hole course, great for practicing your short game especially when short of time. Good driving range too.

21st April 2017 - Academy Course - Since last visit the quality of the course has deteriorated considerably. The bunkers didn't look as if they hadn't been raked for many days, the putting surfaces were very uneven. The course has been deteriorating gradually, it seems, since it has been used for Footgolf. Very disappointing visit.

Greens needed work, bumby and long length although it was October when i played so it might be protection for the winter.

The greens have been better in previous years but for a cheap public pay and play chip and putt its good value for money!

Visited Adlington yesterday, very impressed by the set up, driving range is one of the best I've been to, with targets all over the place, bunkers to avoid and good quality Nike range balls. Played both the course, Graduate is the longer of the two, some holes up to 250 yards, very good condition, good practice for par 3 holes and also general iron and wedge use, greens in good condition too. Academy course, is just a pitch and putt but very useful for practice of when you find yourself 60-90 yards from hole. Only slight downside is the price, £10 for graduate and £7 for academy is a bit expensive, as you can play full size par 3 course for £6 in the area.

A driving range with good facilities both for off mats or grass surounded by two 9 hole par 3 courses. The Academy being the longer course which I played with par 3's ranging from 110yds to 220yds provided, as the name would suggest, good training for either approach shots to greens or varying par 3's that one might encounter. Course very open and not many bunkers. The shorter 9 hole par 3 course good for pitch and putt training round the greens. The 9 hole academy, in my view, a little expensive at £8.95 for a round
