What the club says: Adlington Golf Centre has two 9 hole courses which are ideal for beginners and experienced golfers and is beautifully situated on the edge of the Peak District. Both courses have been specifically designed by leading Architects, Hawtree Ltd. The 9 hole Academy Course was specifically designed for the short game. The 660yd course usually takes no more than 45 minutes per round and requires no more than a wedge and a putter. Our 9 hole Par 3 Graduate Course is the natural progression from the Academy Course and is set amid open rolling countryside, with spectacular views towards the peak district and Lyme park. Taking less than 1½ hrs it is possible to get a round in after work.

Great little course to practice your short game
Well kept nice 9-hole course, great for practicing your short game especially when short of time. Good driving range too.

Macclesfield rated 1 out of 5 - Apr 21 2017

21st April 2017 - Academy Course - Since last visit the quality of the course has deteriorated considerably. The bunkers didn't look as if they hadn't been raked for many days, the putting surfaces were very uneven. The course has been deteriorating gradually, it seems, since it has been used for Footgolf. Very disappointing visit.
