challenging course but very difficult in winter - very muddy - much easier in summer - havent played in summer yet

Only 16 holes open, course was wet but expected due to recent weather, all temporary greens due to frost but they were tiny, hence my lack of GIR!!!

Played as part of two 3 balls on a Sunday morning in early June. Helpful staff on arrival and a lovely course to play in the rolling Derbyshire hills. Played quite long for a group of high handicappers, but a great test and would have no hesitation in going back.

Greens in very good condition
Fairways look good from a distance, but poor grass coverage up close
Loads of mud balls
This may be due to poor weather

Nice course had tricky first 9 and a good second 9, very boggy in places but would like to go back there with better weather.

Par 70 with what seems like loads of par 3's - course in good condition though and a good test for the high handicapper like me

Played Shiralnd for the first time in years. has matured nicely. Very tight lots of blind tee and approach shots. Course condition suffered from very wet weather. Played very long and green bumpy and two paced.
Very friendly and accomodating a good test. Will have another crack at it with hindsite being the 15th club.

went today for our first time ground was frozen so course not as good as it could be but not there fault made very welcome bacon cob very nice .will be coming back as the course and greens look good hope to see you soon .
