Everyone recommends this course. I personally would not. Okay but a very difficult course for the average golfer.

Had been told a lot about this course before so was looking forward to playing it. Excellent front 9 and in Summer will be a fantastic course. Back 9 I don't think there is a flat hole at all. Every hole you seem to be hitting either up a hill or down a hill. The back 9 is a real test of character and strength. having said that i would recommend to anyone that you play this course and have your own thoughts about it.

Not at it`s Best
4th time playing here as part of a Golf Society. The course was not at it`s best. The greens were quite patchy and many of the teeing ares were uneven and worn. I expected better due to the relatively dry winter and previously good experiences there. Possibly there are mitigating circumstances. Because of it`s degree of difficulty (most holes are tree lined) it needs to be in good condition to play it.Reviewer Rating

Hi, I thought the course was very good and very challenging. The tee box area needs improving alot and personally I would like to see more benches around the course to help the elderly because it's a very high sloped course. A very pleasurable course, well done.Reviewer Rating

Great location

worth a visit
6 weeks of drought summer 2018 but they have made an amazing effort to keep the greens holding, a hybrid from 210yrds stops within 5yrds #Perfect fairways like most brown but plenty of grass and not many bare spots. for me, you need to play it a few times to get the lines of the tee.2 practice areas along with chipping and putting green, friendly welcome from the pro and good all-round day. £25 for the open weekend pairs :-)

Challenging course but good to play
Played before and always find a bit tough going. It's good to play although I find the 9th and 18th both muddy and a bit of a slog. There are some interesting holes, it's a very diverse course and not flat and samey like some we play. Friendly staff and lovely clubhouse.Reviewer Rating

Lovely parkland course with well manicured fairways and undulating greens which was not as quick as they usually are but still ran pretty well.
