The course was very good, greens and fairways were of an excellent standard, the grass quality was good, well prepared. In recent times they have been re-forming the holes from 10 to 14, and a couple of them were not sign boarded. A couple of temporary signs would have improved an already very good day. Had that been the case 10 would have been awarded

Great course worth playing
Having played Rudding Park a few times now always look forward to returning. Usual friendly welcome in clubhouse, decent food. Good practice facilities. Course in usual great condition, greens good rolled well. Fun course to play with some tricky holes like the tight par4 13th. Long but easy to walk round. Whilst the weather was generally fine, it was quite a windy day. This made some of the holes really tough. the greens were not in good condition as preparation works had only recently been conducted. so it would be fair to rate the course on what we experienced today

The course was in good shape considering the dry summer and the recent heavy rainfall. A good variation to the holes made it an enjoyable experience. My only criticism would be, despite the greens being in good order, I did find their pace to be a little inconsistent.

We really enjoyed our day at Rudding, the course was excellent, the staff were efficient, friendly and vey helpful.

Good course, but unfortunately the best framed holes were closed on the day we played. I use the driving range often, which is first class. Every element is maintained to an exceptional standard, so the course and facilities do not disapppoint.

Mostly excellent
All the facilities are first class and the course is superb with the greens being as good as any and the 6 hole course a real delight.The only slight reservations are the complexity of booking the practice facilities and sometimes the staff can be difficult, however I've always found the management (James King in particular) to be very responsive to any problems.

Pace of play !
No issues with the course, great lay out, long but fair, greens fairways and tees all in great condition. However my main issue was the pace of play which was really poor. Two things did not help, members not letting people through and the high level of people using buggies. People using buggies make things worse as they are continually catching and pushing walking golfers. While I enjoyed the round these two things made it far too slow and uncomfortable.Reviewer Rating

Quality course
A top quality course, in superb condition.A great mix of challenges, some strategic holes, such as 2, 11 & 13. Others where you can open your shoulders a bit, such as 3.
My only criticism is the long grass was a bit close in places, especially for some of my fellow players.
Greens are superb, undulating but true.
All in all a great course.

Great course
This course is fantastic and in really excellent condition. It is a really testing course for all abilities with the fairways all lush grass. The rough is testing but fair if you miss the generous fairways,p. The greens are immaculate and fair but very fast and undulating which makes them difficult and it's easy to 3 putt.At 6250 yards off yellow tees it's a long walk so a buggy is a good help. I would recommend this course to anybody who takes go,f seriously.
The hotel attached to the course is excellent but expensive a real treat.

Fantastic course worth Visiting
