Good course, but unfortunately the best framed holes were closed on the day we played. I use the driving range often, which is first class. Every element is maintained to an exceptional standard, so the course and facilities do not disapppoint.

Mostly excellent
All the facilities are first class and the course is superb with the greens being as good as any and the 6 hole course a real delight.The only slight reservations are the complexity of booking the practice facilities and sometimes the staff can be difficult, however I've always found the management (James King in particular) to be very responsive to any problems.

Super course, greens are pretty much flawless, borrowing and running out far more than one could imagine only at bingley st ives. Very forgiving course in the most part, we played in very windy/rainy conditions which the course seemed to not even acknowledge, playing true with very little surface water or run off from the last 24 hrs of heavy rain. Thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the club and course, the pro asked my playing partner (a 6ft3 unit of man with Herculean length hair) if he would like a hair bobble! Certainly a new one for us on our golf resurgence and automatically securing a second visit within 5 minutes of driving through the gates. Many thanks.

We really enjoyed our day at Rudding, the course was excellent, the staff were efficient, friendly and vey helpful.

Quality course
A top quality course, in superb condition.A great mix of challenges, some strategic holes, such as 2, 11 & 13. Others where you can open your shoulders a bit, such as 3.
My only criticism is the long grass was a bit close in places, especially for some of my fellow players.
Greens are superb, undulating but true.
All in all a great course.

Good challenge for most golfers and very friendly
Great practice facilities and a fair test of your game. It's got fairly open fairways so nice for the high handicapper but there?s plenty of well placed hazards for the longer hitters so you wouldn't feel like you could hit driver off many tees if you drive the ball a long way. Fantastic course worth Visiting
Visited after a couple of days heavy rain but course was in great condition and greens were in great shape very true and fast which was surprising. Great place.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 95 Handicap: 16.4)

Well worth a visit ????????

Absolutely loved this course , greens, fairways and overall everything played superb , it is challenging at times but is a beauty to walk round , well maintained and looked after with a nice clubhouse with fantastic staff...very impressed.

Played this course as part of a group on a Sunday driver deal. Very impressed with the whole set up of the hotel and golf facilities. The short par 3 course, Repton, is worth a look at to warm you up and practice your short game. The main course, Hawtree, is an extremely good, a test for all handicappers. Quite wide fairways but stray to far and heavy rough can keep your ball hidden. Lush green fairways, hard but receptive greens, which are quite undulating and sometimes difficult to read. The whole course was in great condition, a pleasure to play. Some testing par 3s especially the 14th where a large tree guards half of the green, a real card wrecker. Be prepared for a slow round though with the usual societies and corporate golf this venue attracts but well worth a look for sure. Will certainly be returning.

Pace of play !
No issues with the course, great lay out, long but fair, greens fairways and tees all in great condition. However my main issue was the pace of play which was really poor. Two things did not help, members not letting people through and the high level of people using buggies. People using buggies make things worse as they are continually catching and pushing walking golfers. While I enjoyed the round these two things made it far too slow and uncomfortable.Reviewer Rating
