Must play course
The ?185 winter visitor rates are expensive, but this is a bucket list course you aren't going to play every week. The course was in good condition despite the recent weather and a real challenge as the wind picked up. Honestly, I'd rather play Formby, Hillside or Royal Lytham now that Birkdale is ticked off my bucket list, must it's a must play course despite the cost, even if only once!Reviewer Rating

Just after the Open!
Lovely course, in tip top condition as you can imagine after the open has just been played.(Round played: Aug 2017 - Score: 98 Handicap: 25.2)

A warm welcome in the Clubhouse with excellent food but the Green Fees are on the high side.
