Good course for the money
Generally good but some poor fairways. Lack of signage to next hole needs addressing.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 104 Handicap: 19.5)

Nice course - penal rough
A decent course with juicy rough off the first cut which slows the round down and spoils the enjoyment somewhat. Course was in good condition with nice greens. Signposting is a bit hap hazard if you've not played there before and clear, prominent signs pointing the way to the next tee would help. Very slow food service if you want a breakfast and the food is average at best. Some beers not available. Not a lot of care seems to go into this areaReviewer Rating

Great public course
Really good public course, with some difficult holes. I would suggest that the course is a little over played, and needs a rest in places.Reviewer Rating

Great value and good fun
A really nice well kept course. Forgiving off the tees as long as you are picking the right club. Nice easy par 5 to open with leading into some pretty holes after.Playing in winter course management is being taken seriously. Lots of roped off areas to keep trolleys away from sensitive areas. Some holes are playing short to maintain tee box integrity but does not overly diminish your experience.
Staff are friendly and helpful and the 19th is decent to relax in after. The sausages half way round is highly recommended buy before you set off for a small discount.
The pro shop is closed in the winter limiting access and selection to what you may have forgot so go prepared! No range or nets on offer but a large putting green to play around on.

Curates Egg
Recent society meeting we play Rookwood every year. Positives great staff in all parts of the club, still a halfway hut such a rarity these days. Food was fine without being memorable.Greens good and true.
But, bunkers not in good condition and the rest of the course could do with a lot of attention. Will be kind and say maybe as it is holiday time some of the green keeping staff were away, hope so!
The whole place including the club house is looking a bit tired.
Will not stop us returning but please some tlc.
