An excellent public course. Have always found it in good condition. I tend to use this a fair bit in the winter as it seems to hold up well to these conditions and you can usually get a good rate. Excellent halfway hut. You'll need your long clubs for the 18th - at 443 yards for a par 4, that is a long way for me!!

Awful Course
We played Rookwood course recently and were charged £35 to play on a completely unplayable course. The course was boggy mud all the way round and the fairways hadn't been cut for weeks (even though most areas were mud, not grass).They had no interest in enforcing pace of play either. The round was so incredibly slow, we gave up after 16 holes. This isn't helped by the fact that the back 9 has several par 3's and a short par 4 in quick succession, creating heavy congestion. Avoid this course.
Also saw the guy working in the halfway house empty the bit outside with his bare hands and then go back into the hut to continue working with food, without washing his hands or wearing gloves. Don't eat at the halfway house.

very bad course is very run down and isn't looked after. Faieway and rough are the same and the course is a mess gen

This course is badly in need of some attention IE no sand in the bunkers grass growing in them greens very very poor fairways fairly ok,but in fact I would say that this is the poorest course i have played in many a year, such a shame as this could be a very nice course.

Went on Sunday 7 Feb 2016 and it was shocking. Pro shop is shut, the course was waterlogged, the greens were bobbly. It was like playing in a ploughed field. To top it all no food when we got to clubhouse at 3pm.

Nice course ruined by green staff. Do not play before 7 am as you will have green staff on every hole & literally chasing you up the fairway! Round ruined!!!

got told course not busy and by the second we got stuck behind a 4 ball all the way round,nearly 5 hours for this round and it the course was full of 4 balls. As we were told how quite it was we decided to get a buggy good job we had somewhere to sit while we watched the four ball t off. Although the course was in good nick they certainly like to take your Money. Just be aware. Probably won't go back as this is not the first time.

Disappointing, not worth the money
The course is in a terrible condition, it would be too easy to blame the weather and covid 19 restrictions however i have played numerous courses since golf was re-opened this year.Certainly not worth the ?30 being asked for a round of golf. Someone needs to do lots of work to get this Course up to scratch

Average shortish course
Reasonable handily located course for Horsham. Shortish with a few rather quirky holes. Worth playing on a deal. Average condition.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 82 Handicap: 8.2)

Course waterlogged

We played here today course was muddy, greens were poor with unrolled pitch marks all over, bunkers were poor untended with ups and downs not raked.
