first time i have played this course and a way to travel from home but well worth it,the staff were very friendly even the small cafe at the 7th tee,the course was in perfect condition and its only a municipal course,fairly challenging but also forgiving for the less gifted,i am one of those,would not hesitate to recommend this course to anyone.......go play it

Great condition and amazing greens. Not the most exciting layout but a solid course and VERY good value for money

Rookwood GC near Horsham is one of the very best municipal courses you will ever play. Playable most of the year, at 6008 yards off the yellows and GBP 25 green fees, this parkland course is also great value for money. Not a boring hole on this 18 hole track. Every player has his/her favourite (and most aggravating) holes. A challenging course, but very possible to play to your handicap or better. Very easy on the eye and with excellent bar and catering facilities in the converted Sussex barn. You will enjoy a round here.

Great course for golfers of all abilities, it’s a shame that they have cut back a lot of trees and foliage which had grown over the years.

If you are a beginner then the course is wide on many holes allowing fro a good margin of error. If you are more advanced there are plenty of holes that allow you to test your skills. i love playing this course!

Very challenging course for the beginner, some tricky undulating greens, can be very slow when damp and rather quick when dry. Nice and peacefull parkland course. Great for all standards of player.

Great course for all standards of player. Staff very friendly. Greens fast and a bit tricky, could do with signs pointing to next tee as got lost on one occasion as there is a great deal of walking between green and next tee on some of the holes. Will certainley be back for more.

Exellent Course, undulating greens that can be very fast in the summer. well set up with moderate rough if you stray a little and jungle if you stray a long way

A very good course usually in very good allround condition. Fairways, greens and tees all superb. Get your points on the front nine because the back nine is 4-5 strokes harder usually into a strong wind. Only £22 W/E.

This is a superb course. It is very challenging for a player like myself(16 Hcap). I would play here every week if I could.
