Good course bit muddy but worth the money , bit of a challenging course as can be punished for not getting it straight of the tee

Great course
Considering this is run by the council, it really is fantastic. Layout is exciting and the front 9 is really enjoyable. Don't be fooled by your front 9 score as it gets a lot harder on the back! A half-way hut with refreshments makes it a great round.Reviewer Rating

The course is in very good condition for the time of year, the fairways are cut nicely and the greens are, as usual, in very good condition.

Decent public course
Good conditions, apart from bunkers they’re unplayable. Otherwise it was on condition and speed of play was OK. 4 hours for two is possibly a bit two long(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 85 Handicap: 19.7)

Well worth a visit
Rookwood is public pay and play course and is kept in excellent condition, has a good variety of holes for all types of golfers. Has a good clubhouse and Pro-shop all staff are very helpful and friendly for all your needs.Reviewer Rating
