Great Course
Very good course but very hilly - definitely benefit from local knowledge second time round!(Round played: Oct 2018 - Score: 105 Handicap: 28.5)

A thinking golf course
Played here on a GroupOn deal. Really pleasant welcome from the proshop and very efficient check-in.Booked a 9.30 tee time and one thing to note that the kitchen does not open until 9.00am so bit rushed with a 'take out' onto the course!
Course itself as all this summer has suffered a bit and the fairways were a bit 'scabby'. There were a number of bare lies which is not anybodies fault. Green were in very good condition. The course is very tight with nearly all fairways tree lined. There are some interesting sloping fairways which due to the dry weather did penalise some good drives.
There is a 'halfway hut' which may compensate for the kitchen not being open for the early starters.
It is not a long course but you do need to think your way round. The errant shot is penalised!
Bunkers were fine however the one to the right of the 18th was full of stones.
Would like to play again when it is a bit greener.
Very pleasant bar staff and friendly members.

Very demanding course
First time playing here - rained before start of play and then torrentially on the 8th - meant that all holes after 7 were difficult to putt on.Nice course though and staff very pleasant

Lovely course with tree-lined fairways, many with severe slopes. A course for the straight hitter!

A really lovely mature course, virtually every hole tree lined. You have to think your way round and cannot just smash the driver on every tee. Really enjoyable and I will definitely return.

Hidden gem
Tree lined course with some narrow fairways, not the longest course but there are some tight holesVery nice course with good greens

Fun round !!
Always a good days golfing, only down side they had just sanded the greens so a true roll was a no no but overall good day, oh they did knock off a tenner !!(Round played: Aug 2017 - Score: 88 Handicap: 20)
