What a Little hidden Gem
What a lovely course, greens are like glass ( normally ) last of my visits they were good but not rapid, not a bad hole on the course, great hospitality, just need a louder Klaxxon when they want you off the course in case of Lightning, Play this course it is fantastic !!Reviewer Rating

Tough test for high handicappers
Visited the Robin Hood course as part of a charity day for our works company. The setting is in the middle of a luxurious housing estate and unfortunately the prices refelected this. a ball marker alone cost ?4, 2 drinks (squash and lemonade) over ?6 and 2 sausage sandwiches ?8 - does not endear vistors. The welcome was rather sterile and the buildings quite aged. The course waas a good challenge (this was proved with the low handicappers coming out on top) very narrow tree lined fairways, the greens suffered from a recent tining session and the course had an overall tired look about it. Nothing to write home about and would struggle to attract my ?60 visitor fee in the future.Reviewer Rating

Worth playing
You get the felling of greatness as you drive in through the electric gates. Large carpark with an overflow that is next to the chipping/bunker area. Welcoming staff in the pro shop and throughout the club.Manicured fairways give the course great definition, with the rough only an inch or two high but tightly cut, anywhere off line can be costly, as I found out more than once. A short walk between the second and third tees, otherwise each tee box is close to the preceding hole. Water can be found on a few of the holes, but due to the positioning it's not too intimidating. Toilet facilities on course is always welcome, and these were maintained to a high standard. Back into the clubhouse which is two tiered and has views overlooking the practise green and 18th fairway. I'm definitely visiting again, as the course owes me big time.

Best greens so far in 2017
3rd June 2017 RH open medalPractice area between 2nd green / 3rd tee 20 ball tube £2, with separate chipping are to the right. both in excellent condition.
Pro very welcoming and helpful :-) along with bar staff and organisers (in fact very helpful)
Course: great layout and very tree lined, quality golf shot is paid well, greens were lightening fast and super slick with great grass coverage, you really new if you holed it from the BAT!
Save some shots for the last 3 holes super tough finish, if you play a big draw like me. just the 7 shots dropped.
Beers £3.75 a pint for non-members, the cake for a £1 just awesome and super fresh. deffo back in 2018 if not before.
A real gem
