"Fantastic course worth visiting"

Great course with some very difficult holes, little bit of crossing over but overall very good

A real nice quality golf course

Enjoyed the course with its entrance hid down the side of a local school. I was pleasantly surprised at the greenness of the place. Greens and fairways were impressive despite a really sustained hot summer. From tee to green, there was quality and signs that the course is looked after. Lots of trees but with care you can play around them. The staff and members were very friendly and helpful too. Worth a visit if you can get there- you won't regret it... trust me.

Worth playing

You get the felling of greatness as you drive in through the electric gates. Large carpark with an overflow that is next to the chipping/bunker area. Welcoming staff in the pro shop and throughout the club.
Manicured fairways give the course great definition, with the rough only an inch or two high but tightly cut, anywhere off line can be costly, as I found out more than once. A short walk between the second and third tees, otherwise each tee box is close to the preceding hole. Water can be found on a few of the holes, but due to the positioning it's not too intimidating. Toilet facilities on course is always welcome, and these were maintained to a high standard. Back into the clubhouse which is two tiered and has views overlooking the practise green and 18th fairway. I'm definitely visiting again, as the course owes me big time.

Best greens so far in 2017

3rd June 2017 RH open medal

Practice area between 2nd green / 3rd tee 20 ball tube £2, with separate chipping are to the right. both in excellent condition.

Pro very welcoming and helpful :-) along with bar staff and organisers (in fact very helpful)

Course: great layout and very tree lined, quality golf shot is paid well, greens were lightening fast and super slick with great grass coverage, you really new if you holed it from the BAT!

Save some shots for the last 3 holes super tough finish, if you play a big draw like me. just the 7 shots dropped.

Beers £3.75 a pint for non-members, the cake for a £1 just awesome and super fresh. deffo back in 2018 if not before.

A real gem

Perfect welcome from the moment we entered the Pro Shop until we left. Course was in very good condition considering recent weather, greens running true, and a challenging layout. All three of us had a great day having travelled from Sheffield and will be returning in the Summer.

Enjoyed a great game with our society, what a beautiful course even if the clubhouse on the outside looks a bit dated inside is great with a lovely view of the 18th and putting green. Everyone of our group enjoyed the course which was easily the best we have played all year and for the end of October that is saying something. Only downside was the rain halfway round,

I have played it twice now, the first time was in the summer and it was stunning, however I was told not to play in the winter as it was not a winter course. I have to say I played it in the middle of November and it was great, greens were lovely and we had a great day. Clubhouse a little dated, nice pro shop, food was a little expensive, beer great although not the cheapest and my favourite on the pump !!

Love this place has to be one of the best courses in the midlands and it just gets better, has changed in the 3 years since I last played with some great new holes. Always seem to play well around here which helps but you need your A game. First impressions you would not expect what you get but once your past that Wow

Not a course I had heard of, was recommended by a friend who lives in the area and I can see why, stunning course, rapid greens and we are approaching November. Work going on at the minute to one of the holes which meant we played a short hole, great day.
