First time I have played Robin Hood and it was stunning, loads of water and trees, the greens were unreal fast and so true, a member told us that they had been over 13 on the stimpmeter a few weeks earlier, lovely layout and when next on business in the area I will be back - a must play course

Stunning autumn morning
Robin Hood course was a little wet and soft at the start of our round but with warm sunshine and a light breeze the greens speeded up but the ball still didn't run on the fairways. This course is quiet tight and rewards keeping the ball on the fairway. The closing 3 holes are challenging especially with soft fairways.(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 100 Handicap: 18.5)

The best conditioned course I have played all year, played on a county card so ended up getting a cheap round, beautiful fairways and greens that are so true even the bunkers played nicely. New pro shop since my last visit many years ago which is well stocked, only slight grumble was we got caught up in a lot of golf which made it a slow round however well worth the wait.

Probably one of the nicest courses I've played. This is a gem. Wonderful fairways, perfect greens and a real good test of golf.

What a course, I am member at a top course in Surrey and I have to say this topped it by a mile, if it was in the South people would be paying a fortune to play on those greens. Some great holes and some finish. When we travel to the Midlands again this will be on top of my list.

Played in a recent b team match here for the first time in a long time and I have to say it was the best course I have played in years especially for the time of year , loving the new water features and bunkers and the greens are amazing

Played this course after a Midlands event and I have to say they were the best putting surfaces I have played on and its nearly November. Some great Holes but be straight or the trees will punish you.

The greens are excellent, firm and quick, a true test of golf. Make sure you bring your best short game and a very straight driving game! 10 years since I last played the course and the changes and improvements are noticeable, in particular the water features on 2 and 16, they really make you think about your approach shots. Even a nice selection of cakes to enjoy at the 19th

played in an open comp recently ,found the course to be in great condition and the greens superb. As stated before there are lots of trees but I don't see what the problem with that is and I visited a few of them. It is a tough but fair course keep it on the fairway and you're fine ,just like any other course . I enjoyed my day there and will certainly go back for more ....only downer was £15 for 4 lagers lol ....its worth a visit .

Have just played 36 holes during the Midland Open. The course was awsome and a true test of golf, the scoring was tough but the course was in great shape with the greens challenging us all. Hope we play something here again soon
