A good 'simple course' with some unexpected features. Being improved all the time. Lovely surroundings beautiful views of Richmond Park. Not too busy if you choose a sensible time. Very, very good value for money and friendly.

Played this week just after the greens had been renovated. They had recovered well and were running true. Course is looking and playing really well at present. Bunkers still need some attention though.

Wet weather in late summer has improved the course. Greens now much more receptive and the roll is truer.

Played here as part of a golf day with our pub society. New clubhouse is smart and food was nice. New holes are interesting. Big difference to when we last played a few years ago, although I do miss driving through the park to get to it.

Nice course. Played here on a twilight deal and although it is wet in places the greens are in good shape.

Played in an open compeition last week as I've got a loyalty card and it was only £20 for the pair. Was a fun day out and well organised. Missed out on the prize of a skycaddy but still had a laugh. Course was nice for time of year.

Played the Dukes course on 01 June 2014.Unfortunately I have to say that I was not impressed at all by the whole experience

We specifically decided to visit the course on the reopening weekend, a time when I would have expected to see pristine fairways, pathways, greens etc. instead The rough was REALLY ROUGH! The first cut was the level of what the rough should have been. The fairway was no different from the first cut, well driven balls had no run in them, they practically pitched up to carry distance. From most of the tees it was very difficult at times to distinguish where the fairway began and finished. Sand bunkers were awful due to barely having the one ingredient they needed (sand). On the website side - 90% of the content concentrated on the brand spanking new club house building - which lacked atmosphere and energy when we arrived. The remaining 10% of the website content was I am sad to say, very poor. The only course information for visitors is a course layout map!! Don't expect to find any basic visitor information like a score card or course guides etc

For the money laid out to play a round of golf, the state of holes, walkways and greens were really substandard. I came here to this website vent my golfing disappointment only to find that a number of other fellow golfers have expressed their views already.I do hope the association (GlenDale) that run Richmond Park Golf Club are sitting up and taking note. This course could be run a lot better...

Very good for the price

For probably the most reasonably accessible course both distance and price wise for London, this is a very good golf course. 2 courses, Princes and Dukes, both relatively flat but offer a decent challenge to the golfer. Rough can be intense in the summer yes, but its nothing too extreme like other reviews make out. Green fees, snacks and drinks are reasonable. Pace of play could be monitored better by staff/marshals at busy times.
