We were invited to play by some club members. The course and facilities are in very good condition and are very well looked after. The course is not too difficult, but is quite enjoyable

An outstanding Golf Club close to Central London
Roehampton Golf Club is a lovely and magnificently kept golf course almost in the centre of London. The course is not that difficult, but nevertheless it is a good challenge.Reviewer Rating

Great condition and technically challenging
The layout of Roehampton makes excellent use of the space available. It is not the longest course by any imagination but it presents carefully placed bunkers off the tee and challenging green complexes. There are a number of short par 4s but none of them are pushovers. The conditioning is great but the one gripe is the fact that the club clings on to some of the antiquated rules that put people off golf. I was accosted by the course marshal on the putting green and told I could only play if I was wearing white socks (mine were white). I was then marched to the pro shop to buy some white ones. This sort of nonsense is the reason that people do not want to get into golf. The old farts who come up with these rules need to realise that this sort of stuff does not matter one bit.(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 74 Handicap: 3.4)

First time round here. Decent course if a little flat. Not the longest but quite tight due to being packed in to a fairly small space. Enjoyed it though and course and greens were in decent nick.

Very attractive course, some tight fairways and well kept fast greens. Groundsmen could be more aware of golfers.

Pleasant Course
Pleasant course that wasn't overly difficult and had some very accessible par 4's, although there were some other par 4's that were quite long that made up for it. Plenty of bunkers around the green to add some difficulty with some fairly open fairways.(Round played: Feb 2018 - Score: 92 Handicap: 19.2)

I played the course in May 2014 on a corporate day, the course was in fantastic condition but, and this is a big but, if you are a decent golfer, it is fairly easy. A lot of short par 4\'s and short par 5\'s so you wouldn\'t say by any stretch of the imagination it is a challenge. I had 5 birdies in the round and hadn\'t played for months, the par 4\'s are a medium iron and a wedge at times. However, I enjoyed it, the greens were fantastic and I would describe it as a relaxing course to play, no hills to navigate and not an overly long walk. Some of the tees are dangerously close to greens but besides a few shouts of fore didn\'t really impact the game. Facilities are great, very well kept.

A great course considering it location so close to central London. Even though it is quite short it has some interesting holes and is in great condition. The clubhouse is excellent and general sporting facilities are top knotch.
