Amazing winter course even in the driving rain we had on the day, will definitely be back in the summer as I think it will be even better

In October after a day of rain
Ground still firm and greens receptive. Bunkers not too bad either. In fact course in good nick. No worn out tees and though there is sand on the greens, has been "washed" away by the rain. It helped that it was warm, around 14-15c and not a hint of rain. Mind you had to finish in the dark. The grouips in front were prolonging the agony. We finished in just under 4h 20mins but needed around 5mins more light. Sund=set was 17:59, we finished at 18:25Reviewer Rating

Hidden Gem In Kent

The course was in reasonable condition, greens could be better but I guess they get a lot of traffic, Tee boxes needed lots off work skidding around on sand doesn't help. Also a 5+hour round!Reviewer Rating

Great Course
My home club so slightly biased but probably the best course in the area. Given the weather the condition was as good as it could get. The greens were excellent, fairways playable and the beer at the end was most welcome!Reviewer Rating

Nice course in nice surroundings and with some interesting challenges, particularly with run-off the present dry, hard ground. Very nice clubhouse with friendly staff.

Improves with every visit
they keep finding ways to improve this course and off-course facilities. If I could be picky - I'm not a fan of the rubber in the bunkers, the fine sand blows away and you can easily be hitting the rubber underneath.Reviewer Rating

Hadn't played here for ages. Good deal at £25 for twilight rate. Course in good condition and greens decent if a litle slower than expected. Front and back 9's had been reversed since I'd last been which probably makes a bit more sense in terms of routing. Few of the bunkers could have done with a bit more sand but otherwise all good. Also noted they were construting some new bunkers on a few holes which appeared to be with an idea of challenging the bigger hitters. Will head back in due course.

Lovely Woodland Course
Course was in great shape, greens very quick and undulating, but a good test. We were behind a queue of groups behind a very slow single ball which was extremely frustrating, otherwise a really lovely round, good bar facilities and friendly staff and members.Reviewer Rating
