Highly recommended course, very glad I got to play it before heading back home to Spain. Varied, challenging holes and excellent greens. The 18th is a bit much but the other 17 more than make up for that. I'll be definitely be returning whenever I get the chance.

After reading mixed reviews of late I decided to give this course a go and so glad we did. Super quick greens, fantastic condition and all four of us blown away with course. We couldn't wait to see what sort of hole was coming next and didn't disappoint last few holes brilliant. I notice negative reviews all on the same date, so presumably from the same group. One person blames 5 par 3's for a 5 hour round! It is time golf clubs reviewed societies!

I cannot understand the recent poor reviews. I have played over 20 courses across the North-West so far this year and only Formby measures up to Reddish Vale in terms of quality and presentation. As for the greens, Reddish is second to none!
My experience of the catering was limited to an excellent sausage and bacon roll which I thought good value at £2.75.
I can only think that the bad reviews are from jealous members of other local clubs...

Brilliant course, friendly staff and lots of interesting holes. Only negative is the steepness of some of them - most notably the 18th. Will probably get a buggy next time. Great twilight deal for £15 though - can't argue with that!

The golf course is unique and very much risk and reward. However, in my opinion the quality has declined in comparison to previous visits. The food provided pre round was awful and offered no value whatsoever. The Chef was rude and obnoxious and set the wrong tone from the outset. Its a shame but these factors combined will not see me going back to Reddish Vale...theres far too many courses out there to play without wondering if things will get better.

Course is a good test of golf with quick greens which had unfortunately just been treated before our round

I love the challenge of this great course, it is quite different to any other I have played. My favourite hole is the par 3 6th with a massive drop and river on the left (but I did get a 2!). If you are new to the game, play badly or hit the ball left this course will find you out.

Ive been looking forward to playing this course for a long time as hearing and reading good reviews about the place. Don't let this fool you this course is shocking. The condition of the course was like a municipal tee's not sign posted clearly we found ourselves lost a few times, tee's too far away from greens. And to top the whole experience off the staff and members to add were very rude and 'snotty' and the food was cold and came wrong. All in all a nightmare. I will not be returning...

As the Manager of Reddish Vale GC I am obviously biased but in my 23 years at the club I have never seen it in such good condition.
We have some very good membership deals available at the moment in all categories but in particular for Ladies and male golfers under 35 years of age , ring me on 0161 480 2359 for details.

Quite an adventurous round of golf. The first 5 holes are a great introduction to the round and provoke good long iron shots off the tee. Some well thought out undulations make for challenging approach shots. The magic starts on hole 6 when you drop down into the valley from that point on it is a golfers play ground! you will play this again and again!

A very friendly club. The was in great condidtion. It is very challenging, especially the 18th, which is a straight par 4 but the last 150yrds are 45 degress up hill.
