Great course worth playing
First time playing Reddish Vale very impressed. Friendly welcome all round. Decent practice facilities. Course in great condition, greens mint. Some great holes, quite tight in places. Please save some energy for the 18th, steep uphill climb towards the clubhouse. Certainly on my return to list.Reviewer Rating

Urban Augusta
After playing here it makes a lot of other courses seem like fields with flags in. We had some trouble finding the way in so had a chance to take in the inauspicious surroundings. It’s amazing to find such a fantastic course in an urban area. The first five holes are great and then you move to the sixth and the plot of land just opens out in front of you. It’s incredible how the course threads through and integrates with the landscape. The good doctor was truly a genius of course design. I would join tomorrow if I was a little more local.Reviewer Rating

A Proper Golf Course
Can't believe I've never played here before. Fabulous course- Plotted between the River which seems to be on every hole after the first 3. Lots of history- The Mackenzie trail a huge pull to play. Can't wait to return when I doubt I?ll birdie the last again as I did first time.Staff in Pro-shop very welcoming and helpful..

Fantastic course
This is a Mackenzie course and what a pleasure it is to play here. The pro was very helpful and gave me all the information I needed. The top 5 holes are a nice start into a tougher rest of the course. The design is amazing with lots to look at, think about and play shots around or over. The greens were very firm but the ball rolled really well. The fairways are comfortable on your feet. The rough is very deep, not only would you lose a ball, you could lose a bag and trolley. There are a couple of longer walks from one green to the next tee (5th to 6th, 10th to 11th, 16th to 17th). The last few holes are tricky and you could drop shots even playing good golf. The 18th is a very steep hill to finish. This is not a course for novice golfers.Reviewer Rating
