Challenging little course
Puttenham is a hidden gem. Very interesting course, everything in really good condition. Cant really think of any boring holes, something to think about on all of them. Well worth a visit.Reviewer Rating

Lovely course, not long but tricky
Played 8th April - the course is not long (5,700 off the yellows) and a lot of work has been done removing excess trees, improving paths and so on. Nice halfway house. I have played here many times - perhaps the time of year but I found the greens disappointing - true, and quite quick but not silly, but mottled and patchy. Will be interesting to play in May or June. Normally I consider the greens here one of the features and one of the challenges. Overall though a very nice course.Reviewer Rating

Loved it
Quirky as you like, a very good test with some tight holes. Greens and fairways v good. Friendly staff and pleasant clubhouse, only criticism is the very poor quality of the range ballsReviewer Rating

On of Surrey's gems
I've been trying to play hear for some time but weather and covid caused cancellations.Weather was kind but course played a little long due to the soft fairways. Greens were in good condition and played true but beware there are some tricky slopes on them.
Clubhouse is very nice and all the staff and members were very friendly.

Worth playing good course
Although it is not as long as other courses in the area it's well worth playing, it's in very good condition and greens are very fast but not flat, pretty course with tight doglegs tree and woodland. Would like to play again in better weather when it's not raining and now we know how the feel of the greens.Reviewer Rating

Great Heathland course
Whilst short, 5784 off the yellows, a tricky and hilly course. Heather, rhodedendra, so good to look at as well.Reviewer Rating

Great course, odd local rules
Great course to play with a excellent mix of holes, from long Par3s, risk reward par 4s, and challenging undulating par 5s. The course can get busy and the members take the early tee times. A couple of local rules that aren't made known to visitors, 1) don't leave stuff in the clubhouse / locker rooms if playing twilight as they can lock up early at times, 2) you can't play through at the halfway house if others taking a break, they still have priority and the members can be very rude in making this known.(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 92 Handicap: 18.3)

Beautiful course but......
This is a beautiful course both scenically and to play. Very, very well kept and great views in the Surrey Hills. However, we teed of at 14:15 on a Sunday having left items in the locker room, after the round we found the club house fully locked up with no access; the access code we had been given, which worked on other doors, for the key pad did not unlock the door. We were lucky that the cleaner was in the club house and heard us trying to get in and gave us access to the locker room. Not very impressed with that side of things considering the reputation of this club!(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 111 Handicap: 28.1)

Good course after a wet week
Got a deal 2 for £50 off a website. Was in very good condition. Holes 10-14 are having some drainage work done to them.(Round played: Jan 2018 - Score: 88 Handicap: 17.9)

Cracking Course
Played after lots of recent rain and this course is amazingly dry. Only 2 holes which are a bit damp underfoot but they have added new drainage so these shoud improve. The greens are wicked at this place and the layout is superb - short par 4s which require a bit of thought make up the majority of the course. Love it.(Round played: Dec 2017 - Score: 93 Handicap: 18.4)
